Question1

Two vessels A and B each have n molecules of the same perfect monoatomic gas. Firstly the two vessels are thermally isolated from each other, the two gases being at the equal pressure and at temperature TA and TB respectively. The two vessels are now brought into thermal contact; pressure of the gases being kept constant at the value P. Find out the change in entropy of the system after equilibrium is established and explains that this change is non negative.

Question2

At local grocery store, you push a 14.9-kg shopping cart. You stop for a moment to add a bag of dog food to your cart. With a force of 12.0 N, you now accelerate the cart from rest during a distance of 2.02 m in 3.00 s. What was mass of the dog food?
