Q1. A circular loop of radius 11 cm lies in the plane of the paper. A constant magnetic field of 250 mT is directed into the paper. Find out the magnetic flux through the loop. (b) Same geometry as above but now the magnetic field decreases uniformly from 250 mT to zero in 0.5 s. Find the induced emf and the polarity of the induced current. (c) The circular loop is a copper wire of resistance 0.1 Ω. Illustrate the graph of current versus time.

Q2. A 3.57 kg block is drawn at constant speed 4.06 m along a horizontal floor by a rope exerting a 7.68 N force at angle of 15 degree above the horizontal. Work out the coefficient of kinetic friction between block and floor.
