Q. NASA sends a satellite to another planet by placing the satellite in a Keplerian orbit (around the sun) such that the perihelion is at the radius of the Earth's orbit (1 AU) and the aphelion is at the radius of the planet's orbit. Most of the trip is just free fall in the sun's gravitational field. The small gravitational effects of Earth and the other planet, which only affect the satellite at the very beginning and end of the trip, could be neglected.
Suppose a new planet, call it Questerion, were to appear in Solar System, in a circular orbit of radius 7.20 AU. Analyse the time it would take a NASA satellite to travel from Earth to Questerion. Express the result in years.
A 46kg box is being pushed a distance of 7 m across the floor by the force vector P whose magnitude is 144N. The force vector P is parallel to the displacement of the box.
A 800kg , light-weight helicopter ascends from the ground with an acceleration of 3.50m/s2. What is the work done by the gravitational force
The voltage across a resistor is equal to the product of the current through the resistor and the resistance of the resistor, What is the potential difference of the battery
A tennis ball (m = 0.2 kg) is thrown at a brick wall. It is traveling horizontally at 16 m/s just before hitting the wall, find the magnitude of the average force of the wall on the ball

A circular armature coil is used in a motor with a uniform magnetic field of 2.65 T, If this motor is operating on 120 VRMS now with a load (e.g running a fan) and at the angular frequency ?A, how much current is flowing throught the motor
you have encouraged your little sister, who has just gotten glasses for her severe near-sightedness, to give you those glasses so you can play with them. If your sister's face is 180. mm-tall, how tall will it appear to be in the image (in mm)
The lens and mirror are separated by d = 1.00 m and have focal lengths of +80 cm and -50 cm, respectively. An object is placed p = 1.00 m to the left of the lens as shown.
A hiker's trip consists of three segments. Path A is 8.0 km long heading 60degrees north of east. Path B is 7.0km long in a direction due east. Path C is 4.0 km long heading 315 degrees counter clockwise from east.
This problem introduces the concept of tension. The instance is a rope, oriented vertically, that is being pulled from both ends. Let and (with u for up and d for down) represent the magnitude of the forces acting on the top and bottom of the rope..
