Assessment - Summative full lab report

INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSESSMENT:

This assignment is an experimental full lab report on the effects of negative social evaluation on multitasking performance and perceived workload.

After having carried out the practical in a group-based context, the students are required to write a practical report based on their group work, the report must be an individual write-up.

The typed report should not exceed the word length identified above and this word length includes the Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, but does not include the Title Page, References and Appendices - which should all be included.

The Appendices must contain: a copy of your SPSS outputs and any other material your think is important, but which does not fit neatly into the main body of the practical (e.g. a copy of the questionnaire).

The Module Guide contains detailed information about the content for each section of the lab report. Please read this carefully in conjunction with your lecture notes from Weeks 3 and 4.

The Marking Grid provides a detailed outline of the marking criteria for each section of the lab report.

Appropriate referencing is required in this assignment. All references must be in accordance with APA guidelines.

A successful report should include the following:

• A logical structure, good use of written English, clearly-presented results, complete and correct referencing, and appropriate use of appendices.
• A clearly-written abstract, detailing sufficient information for readers to understand the aims, methods and results of the study.
• A clear introduction, with a critical review of the relevant literature, a clear rationale for the study, and well-expressed hypotheses.
• A comprehensive and clear description of your methods, materials and measures, participants, and recruitment process. Your description should be sufficient to allow someone to replicate your study.
• A strong and appropriate presentation of your statistical results and inferential techniques.
• A good discussion including consideration of the findings in relation to the original hypotheses, demonstration of understanding regarding what the findings contribute to the existing literature, insightful evaluation of the strengths and limitations of the study, and insightful recommendations for further study.
• A title page, references and appendices

a multi tasking experiment was conducted in our college. we are suppose to write a lab report. the report should consist of abstract , introduction, methods, results, and discussion , title page , references and appendices. SPSS has to be carried out to analyse. and then write the report. Am not able to upload the spss data if you could share your email id , I shall email it to you.
