PART 2

Construct a Home Page for the Nonprofit Organization you are working with. This nonprofit MUST be a local organization.  Your emphasis should be on accurate, timely, and relevant information.  The information should be detailed relative to the local organization and not much effort should be spent on very general information or information that is easily obtainable on the web. It is OK if this organization already has a Home Page. You may use some of the information but you should try to construct your own.

These pages will be presented by you at the end of the semester. You must list the URL for your web site as a last statement for  this project.  At the final presentation you also must submit comments from your contact person regarding their thoughts on the page you constructed. FAQs may help you increase the amount of relevant information you are providing. You MUST include very current information.  Google sites will be used for the Home Page construction. Using many bells and whistles will not gain many points on this project. The emphasis is on INFORMATION in this Information Systems Course. Take the view that a web site is really a content providing device!
