The advertisement reads: Laptop for sale. £500. Excellent condition. Used for 6 months only. Will suit anyone studying Science and Engineering. Anyone who is interested please contact Lucy on 000456123. Paula reads the notice and calls Lucy. Paula tells Lucy that she is sending an email agreeing to buy the laptop. They arrange to meet so that Paula can collect and pay for the laptop. The next day Paula and Lucy meet. Paula immediately discovers that the laptop doesn t have the software that she needs and that it is not suitable for Science course. Paula complains to Lucy that the laptop is not what Lucy offered in her notice.
