Your introduction should begin by relating your topic to the real world and provide the scope of the issue. Continue with stating the dominant hypotheses then move on to include your research supporting your hypothesis and perspective. Be sure to describe the research - do not just include a random citation! Make sure it is clear why this article is included in your paper.
