Writing is an indispensable part of the process of critical thinking, discovering ideas, and constructing knowledge. In this course, students must complete one (4-5 page APA style) research project. Students will be required to attend at-least two presentations during the National African/Black Psychology Conference . FOR EACH PRESENTATION,

Students must:

1. Provide a ½ page summary of the presentation.

2. Relate presentation to at least TWO Traditional/Western theories of development. Back with support from your textbook.

3. Relate presentation to at least ONE Afrocentric Domain/Worldview.

4. Relate presentation to the developmental trends of African Americans.

5. Relate the presentation to a personalaspect of development. (You may use "I" in this section).

6. SUMMATION: Relate the two presentations to one another in a final summary paragraph
