Question: Select a potential Canadian public policy that is of interest to you. The only requirement is that the policy could be, but has not yet been, implemented by one of the four levels of government in Canada. For inspiration, consider several current public policy debates (e.g., a change in immigration, military aid, Canada Pension Plan, etc.).
A. Provide a brief description of the public policy (i.e., what is the objective, who or what does it affect, why is it important, etc.).
B. Describe the economic and public finance dimensions of the public policy (i.e., how would it impact Canada economically, how should it be financed, etc.). Important elements could be taxes, economic growth, jobs, income, government revenues and expenditures, etc.).
C. State whether the policy involves the production of a public good. Provide a rationale for why it does or does not.
