Projectile Motion

A projectile is launched FROM THE GROUND with an initial velocity of 68 m/s at 35 degrees to the positive x-axis. It strikes a ledge 15 meters below the launch height.

1. List 3-5 relevant concepts and/or equations.

2. Give the y variables to find the maximum height.

3. Give the initial velocity in the x and y-direction as a number.

4. Give the x and y-variables for the total trip from launch until it hits the ledge.

5. How long in seconds is the particle in the air total?

6. How far from the initial launch point does the projectile travel in the x-direction?
