Aim: To design and implement a hotel management system for a small but expanding hotel
Objectives:
1 To carry out strategic analysis of the firm

3 To investigate the most appropriate tools for the design and implementation of the system
4 To carry outrequirement engineering with the aim ofidentifying relevantrequirements
5 To designarelational database system to answer the firm data storage and retrieval need
6 To analyse both current and proposed system
7 To develop the previously Analysed and designed system
8 To investigate and resolves HCI and usability issues
9 To implement the system (Bring to live).
Rationale: Green roof is a small but expanding hotel in a third world country currently running on manual based information system with little intervention of basic spreadsheet program. The firm is planning a big expansion, but the current manual system is struggling to support their operation.
Similar projects fail to take into account some of the operating environment peculiar to a third world country such as infrastructure deficit, users' computer literacy level, and the system interface with it immediate environment. All these will be taken into accountwhile developing the proposed system.
