Children experience many changes in life. Children begin life with a clean slate and learn as they grow and develop. Situations and experiences act as a learning tool. As the child experiences different environments, he or she may begin to associate his or her initial environment as the same. Piaget's theory gives and explanation of the learning abilities of children. The reference of a child's development and learning in Piaget's theory makes it a useful method to treat a child suffering from emotional disturbances.
