Discussion Entry Area I: Assess Needs, Resources, and Capacity for Health Education/Promotion To plan assessment process for health education and promotion. Looking for things that require you to conduct assessments, using ethical principles to the process. Able to find information and data related to health. Developing data collection methods, analyze factors for medical disease, and knowing what health recourses the community needs. Knowing social, political, environmental, and other factors dealing with health also know the needs and capacity.

Area II: Plan Health Education/Promotion This area requires the person to develop goals and objectives, vision statement, mission statement, and goal statements. Developing realistic and attainable objectives, planning models for health education, being able to plan strategies and apply ethical principles. Making plans to deliver health programs, addressing factors that implementation of health education/promotion.

Area III: Implement Health Education/Promotion Control logistics and make a place for learning, develop materials and resources to implement a plan and apply ethical principles to the plan. Training staff and volunteers involved in the implementation of health education/promotion, developing the training objectives knowing the training needs and using the best practices. Ensure compliance with legal standards.

Area IV: Conduct Evaluation and Research Related to Health Education/Promotion Developing evaluation plans and research plans by creating logic models and using data collection procedures. When the results are in communicating to the population and other staff members. Area V: Administer and Manage Health Education/Promotion This area is management the responsibility is to make financial plans, budget requests, and conduct cost for programs. Manage staffing needs make job descriptions. The other is managing technology recourses making relationships with the partners and other stockholders. Making plans, having a meeting, and being a leader.

Area VI: Serve as a Health Education/Promotion Resource Person Assessing information, creating training methods, planning training and conducting training for participants. Making relationships for advisory and consultative, give expert guidance and assistance.

Area VII. Communicate, Promote, and Advocate for Health, Health Education/Promotion, and the Profession Develop and Identify and deliver messages using different communication strategies, methods, and techniques. Using communication theories or models to create the message. Serving as a mentor to others, developing materials that contribute to the profession.
