He expresses concern about his mother's increasing forgetfulness over the past 6-8 months. She has been misplacing items (like keys and her phone), repeating questions, and occasionally seems confused about the day of the week. Helen laughs it off, saying, "Well, everyone forgets things as they get older!" He also reports noticing a slight tremor in her left hand, particularly when she is at rest.
