Julian, Inc., makes and sells drum sets. Hope Smith, controller, is responsible for preparing the master budget. The sales manager has given Hope the following sales forecast for the coming month. April May June July Forecasted unit sales 11,240 13,470 8,550 9,340 Julian expects to have 5,508 drum sets in ending inventory on March 31. The company's policy is to carry 49 percent of the following month's projected sales in ending inventory. Prepare Julian's production budget for the second quarter.
