Case Study: Currently, you are an experienced senior working at a public accounting firm. For the upcoming busy season, you have a new client, a publicly traded corporation. You have not worked with the manager of this client assignment before. You hope to impress this manager because you hear that she strongly supports those seniors who work for her if she considers them to be excellent employees. At the end of this busy season, you will be up for promotion to manager and would like her support.

Next week you have an internal planning meeting with the manager. Today you will be working in the office, and you have decided to devote the day to performing some background reading to become acquainted with this client. When you get to the office today, you learn that the manager is at a client location and unreachable. Because you will not be able to get any background information on your client from her today, you decide to get information using the Internet.

Required: 1. Using the SEC's browser, select a company from the EDGAR database with a name beginning with the first letter of your last name. The company selected will be your new client as discussed.

2. Prepare a two-page summary listing the types of reports your client made to the SEC over the last year. Include a brief description of the contents of each of these reports. Select one of the reports and print its first page.
