1. Select a health or social care service to study
For this assessment item, a report you will need to continue with your own workplace or the Case Study organisation that you applied for the first assessment. Use your own health service, hospital or aged/social care organisation as the basis for the context for this proposal. Alternatively, use the case study hospital or health service from Assessment task 1.

2. Scenario
Building on from the proposal for a digital health solution you are to approach this assessment item as the project manager who will guide the planning and preparation process. The outcome expected for this task is to prepare a detailed report.

3. Task overview
The proposal has been very well received. Senior leaders in the organisation have now asked you to develop materials to provide information to staff, carers in the community, the aged population, residents of aged care facilities, their families, and health professionals locally in the community and within the surrounding health network (allied health, GPs, specialists etc).
This task is to document in a report form further information about the digital health project. The issues you should consider in your report include, but are not limited to:
• Specifying the purpose of the digital health project, content and target group
• Critically discuss the advantages and challenges of using the digital health solution from the perspective of the different stakeholders
• Identify and discuss ways in which residents, family, carers and health care providers might be impacted or use the digital health solution (uses should relate both to ways of working, staff workload, health issues and quality of life) in view of their traditional relationship
• Identify and discuss who should be involved in the planning, implementation and oversight of the project including their roles
• Discuss technical and other requirements: this might include standards, usability and accessibility, privacy and security, hosting options, authoring /maintenance
