Project Brief

Introduction:

The aim is to rebuild for our client, asafe and well respected online marketplace where they and other 3rdparty merchants can sell products to consumers. As a condition of selling items on the website, 3rd party merchants will be required to pay a listing fee(s).
Problems

Data management:
The vast amount of information that such a website would generate. It has to be secure and accessible across multiple set-ups for multiple groups of users. Ranging from users of the website (Customers/Merchants), to Police and other Law Enforcement bodies who may request user data.

Quality of Product:
Enforcing a review system so can trust that both the merchant and the item being sold, as to avoid poorly made fakes that violate copyright.

Dispute Resolution:
Users of the website need to be able to resolve conflicts arranging from failure of payment and/or issues relating to shipping of items.

Summary
Build an online market that is not limited to desktop pcs, but also functions on mobile devices via mobile version of the website or even a dedicated mobile app, downloadable from App Store and Google Play Store.

Enacting proper guidelines on how the sensitive nature of both customer and merchant information is handled to avoid fraud and ID theft.

Provide a course of action, which allows for a speedy resolution of conflict between customers and merchants on the site.

I need a project scope statement and the template for it is attached above. I have also attached a project brief and WBS so that the expert would have an idea of what my project actually is. Just read the project brief and go through wbs. Then it would be easy to write project scope statement.
