Task: Develop an annotated Bibliography of 10 academic journal articles which address how globalization has influenced the economic development in Asia. Focus on the key drivers and major impacts discussed in the academic literature within the last 10 years.
You can, but are not required to, focus your research on the countries that are the focus for assignment 2 (Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Korea).
Preparation: Read the assigned readings for Weeks 1 - 6, which provide a theoretical background and insights into globalization, economic development and associated relevant aspects. Furthermore, conduct your research on relevant academic journal articles as per the instructions above.
Presentation: Assignments are to be typed, with one and a half line spacing, and be in 12- point font. The maximum word limit is 3,000 words.

Task: You have been appointed as an export manager of the medium sized Australian winery HolyCow Pty Ltd who wants to expand internationally. The managing director has heard that Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea could represent good prospects. Your first task is to prepare a pre-feasibility study on the key factors to be borne in mind in preparing to tackle these markets.
The company currently crushes almost 5,000 tons of grapes per year and has a good reputation as a medium and high end quality producer.
Your research and recommendations will be discussed at the monthly sales and marketing meeting and you will be expected to subsequently make a presentation (assignment 3) at the company's next board meeting.

Description - Narrated PowerPoint presentation of country by country comparative analysis of the challenges of entering each market together with recommendations.Task: Following the Assignment 2, you are required to develop and record a PowerPoint presentation for the company's next board meeting. The presentation should cover the key findings and recommendations.
Preparation: Prepare a synopsis of your Assignment 2 Research Essay
Assignments should be in the form of narrated PowerPoint slides, which have to be exported/saved in a video format. Detailed instruction on how to do this will be provided in a separate assignment 3 briefing document (below in this document).
Content:
Focussed on relevant points; slides provide sufficient content (not just keywords); no more than 5 bullet points per slide
Narration:
Clear narration that provides further insights while presenting the content (don't just read the slide content!)
Presentation:
Slide layout, use of visual material, correct spelling and grammar, consistency of formatting and font size, and readability.
