We have learned in the class that the spectrum of a single-tone FM signal is

S(f) = Ac/2 n=-∞Jn(β)[δ(f - fc -nfm) + δ(f + fc + nfm) ]

where Jn(β ) is the nth order Bessel function of the rst kind with argument β. Using Matlab, plot the magnitude spectrum of a single-tone FM signal |S(f)|.

Special requirements:

- Use the besselj function in Matlab.

- The plot should contain only the positive frequency side.

- The plot should only show the frequency components with power higher than -10dB from Ac/2

2 . - Change parameters in the equation, show a few examples of dierent combinations of the parameters and discuss your observation in the conclusion of your homework report.

- The impulse should be represented by a triangle pointing up in your plot.

- Include your Matlab program in the Appendix.
