Need help writing the matlab codes for sinc functions
Project Details:
• Note that your work must be done all numerically using MATLAB exclusively, not analytically.
• Sketch the signal x(t) = (sinc(t))2, where t is the parameter time measured in seconds and the sinc function is defined as follows: sinc(x) = sin(Πx)/Πx.
• Plot X(ƒ), the Fourier transform of the signal x(t), numerically.
• Using instantaneous sampling, sample x(t) at a rate of 0.25 samples per second to form z1(t).
• Plot Z1(ƒ), i.e., the Fourier transform of the sampled signal z1(t), numerically.
• Using instantaneous sampling, sample x(t) at a rate of 1.25 sample per second to form z2(t).
• Plot Z2(ƒ), i.e., the Fourier transform of the sampled signal z2(t), numerically.
• Using instantaneous sampling, sample x(t) at a rate of 4 samples per second to form z3(t).
• Plot Z3(ƒ), i.e., the Fourier transform of the sampled signal z3(t), numerically.
• Compare X(ƒ), Z1(ƒ), Z2(ƒ), and Z3(ƒ), against one another, explain how and why they are different, i.e., provide detailed comments on this comparison.
Report Requirements:
• Include a cover page with your name and student number and also use Times New Roman 12 point fonts, double-space, with one inch margin from each side, throughout the report.
• Include all graphs, they must be clearly labeled, i.e., professionally done.
• Include 1 to 3 pages for MATLAB script (M-file).
• Include 2 to 3 pages of text to explain clearly what and how you carried out your project, including your comments about the results.
• Staple all pages.
• Submit a well-written report with no spelling and grammatical errors, and meet all the above-mentioned requirements.
