Your company makes aluminum-magnesium profiles by extrusion. In an attempt to design a new product using the new alloy, your team performs a study on maximum loading of extrusion and maximum temperature at the surface of the billet at different extrusion conditions. Data are provided in the table above.
As shown in the table, extrusion velocity ranges from 5 (mm/s) to 50 (mm/s). R stands for the extrusion ratio. MN stands formega newton. Temperature listed after the load (MN) represents billet surface temperature.
• Plot extrusion limit diagram using maximum extrusion force vs. extrusion temperature.

Create a data table to generate 100 runs of the simulation. As in previous assignments, this must be an actual data table structure to earn full credit. Calculate the average profit over the 100 simulation runs
Develop a regression equation to forecast the cost per gallon as a function of the number of gallons sold and estimate the manufacturing cost per gallon for a plant producing 325,000 gallons per year.
A contingent liability should be created if it probable that the liability will occur and the amount of the loss can be reasonably estimated. How is the probability of an event occurring determined? Is this based on an estimate of the likelihood of..
Let N(t) be the number of arrivals in the interval (0, t] for a Poisson process of rate λ. Show that the probability that N(t) is even is [1 + exp(-2λt)]/2.
Show that for all sample functions N(t, ω), except a set of probability 0, N(t, ω)/t 2/M for all sufficiently larget. Note: Since M is arbitrary, this means that lim N(t)/t = 0 WP1.
Compute the elasticities for each independent variable and determine the implications for each of the computed elasticities for the business in terms of short-term and long-term pricing strategies. Provide a rationale in which you cite your results..
The following information was reported on the income statement of Cannondale in one of its early years of operation. Sales revenues, $450,000; Cost of goods sold, $200,000; Selling, general, and administrative, $150,000; Interest expense, $30,000.
Will the human subjects be informed of the nature of their involvement in the collection of data and of features of the research that reasonably might be expected to influence willingness to participate?
Using the same [P∗] as the program input, how can you find the expected number of returns to state m before the first passage to state k?
What conclusions can be drawn from the F-ratios and what is the effect size, and what does this mean
