Conclusion:
Wind energy is believed to be the most promising source of renewable energy. Especially with ongoing advancements in the technology, it will provide an overall reliable source of low-priced electricity and lower our dependence on fossil fuels. It is a known environmentally clean and sustainable source of energy, that provides great economical benefits. Unfortunately it still is yet to be perfected, due to the inefficiency of wind turbines and storage capabilities, for today's modern energy needs. The intermittency and the lack of availability in locations of the required conditions of wind is also a major disadvantage to the industry. As the technology of wind advances, so does the advantages over the disadvantages. Locating wind farms at strategic places, that are away from general public complaints, such as noise and sight, ensures a greater production of energy. The efficiency and dispatch of energy upon request are only mechanical problems that will improve with time. Combinations of modern renewable technologies working alongside each other seems to be the correct step toward creating a renewable energy future.
