One student playing an instrument with a frequency of 256 Hz, noticed a beat frequency of 10 Hz between himself and another student from a distance also playing an instrument with a frequency of 256 Hz. The second student was approaching the first student from a distance. The first student used a sound-level-meter pointed at the approaching student which reading increased by 3 dB in 2 seconds. How fast was the second student moving and how far away was he when the first student used the sound-level-meter?
