You are the dental assistant and have been asked to perform reception duties for the week. You arrive at the clinic 30 minutes early on Monday morning to check the answering machine. The following messages were left:

Mr. Miles called Friday evening at 5.45pm telling you he is unable to attend his appointment on Monday at 11am. He has a history of late attendance and FTA. He would like to reschedule his appointment

Mrs. Bright called Sunday morning (11am) to advise she lost her appointment card and would like to know when her appointment is this week. (Her appointment is Wednesday at 2.30pm).

Ms. White called on Sunday evening at 6.30pm advising she has a severe toothache and would like to be seen on Monday Morning at 9am. Your appointment schedule for the day is fully booked.
