Question

Physical assessments are similar for patients regardless of their age. The biggest difference is the way the assessment is conducted and the language used to communicate and engage with the individual. Starting with the similarities, the patient will have a review of systems including neuro, cardio, pulmonary, GI/GU, integumentary, mental, and safety. In the case of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, an evaluation of developmental goals will be evaluated during this time.
