Benson manufacturing company is considering ordering electronic components from three different suppliers. The supplier may differ in terms of quality in that the percentage of defective components may differ among the suppliers. To evaluate the proportion of defective components for the supplier Benson has requested a sample shipment of 500 components from each supplier. The number of good component found in each shipment are as followed (Defective A.15 B.20 C.40) (Good A.485 B.480 C.460) answer the following questions 1.formulate the hypothesis that can be used to test for equal proportions of defective components provided by the 3 suppliers 2.using a .05 level of significance conduct the hypothesis test.
