Vicky is in need of a new laptop computer, her old computer literally crashed and burned. Vicky is on a tight budget and has been looking for a deal on a used computer. A "friend" tells Vicky that she should check with this guy (Freddie Picket) who sells used electronics out of his van at a local "flea market." Vicky finds Freddie and Freddie offers Vicky a "great" deal on a just-like-new Apple MacBook Pro ($100 cash and cash only), the computer does not have a charger or any of the normal accompanying support materials but that's why it is such a great deal. Vicky purchases the computer from Freddie, but subsequently she learns that the computer had been stolen from a local retail merchant--unfortunately she learns of this when she is arrested for receiving stolen property.
