1. For a home toaster suggest a closed loop control scheme to control the amount of browning on the toast.

2. Obtain the mathematical model of the OPAMP circuit shown in the Fig.

3. In the Ward-Leonard speed control system shown in Fig. 2, the generator field time constant is negligible. It is driven at constant speed giving a generated voltage of K2 volts/filed amp. The motor is separately excited so as to have a counter emf of Kb volts per rad/sec. It produces a torque of K. newton-m/amp. The motor and its load have a combined moment of inertia J Kg-m2 and negligible friction. The tachometer constant is K, volts per rad/sec and the amplifier gain is KA amps/volt. Draw the block diagram of this system and determine the transfer function co(s)/Ei(s), where w is the load speed.

Given:

J=6 kg-m2 KA=4 A/V

K2=50 V/A Its= lit 1c2=1.5 N-m/A Kt=0.2 V per rad/sec

With the system originally at rest, a control voltage e,=100V is suddenly applied. Write MATLAB code to determine how the load speed will change with time.
