Assume you have travelled back in time and entered the body of your favorite monk (Gregor Mendel). You find yourself in his garden observing red and white flowering pea plants. You do a quick inventory on the phenotypes that are present in the garden and determine that there are 74 white flowering plants and 365 red flowering plants. Using this information, and assuming the population of pea plants in the garden is at Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium determine how many of the red flowering plants are homozygous dominant (RR) and how many are heterozygous (Rr).
