Nurse sensitive indicators are reflected in structure, having sufficient nursing staff, as well as the staff having the skills necessary and required education to be able during the process to perform a good assessment and create the necessary intervention. In that case, the nurse in charge of the patient must notify the nurse supervisor, the medical provider, the physical therapist, and the fall risk committee. The nurse's responsibility is to assess the patient, inform the MD, supervisor, patient family, and follow facility policy and procedure if there is a fall in the event (Lee, A., Lee, K., 2013). Since a patient with Alzheimer's disease may need more attention, the nurse also needs to properly allocate time for this patient.
