One of the core themes of the design investigation is the importance of research in bringing inspiration to creative thinking. With this design project, the primary inquiry will focus on headphones. The headphones must be designed using CAD software. To do this, follow the tutorials given in the weekly schedule these must be completed .
The design project requires you to re-engineer from an existing headphone set a new design.You must purchase a headphone to disassemble. This original product will be disassembled and details recorded by using sketches and photos with annotations. After this, the task is to produce a new design in a manufacturing drawing format, this will entail 10 drawing sheets fully detailed to AS1100, this may include; screw bosses, lip and groove, Tolerance and section views
One visualise rendering in a electronic format shown using sketch fab. All sketches must be recorded and show the final design. Identify strengths, unique features, and other innovations that distinguish the project using a annotated exploded view. A process diary of all design sketches, rendering and process notes needs to capture process of all work produced.
