TASK 1: CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT

In this task you will take a classroom assessment. It will assess you on the following criteria.

You should:

a. Identify different types of server.

b. Discuss the identified server types.

TASK 2: DESIGNING AND TESTING A NETWORKED SYSTEM, REPORT

Scenario - You are a senior IT technician in a company. The company started its operations in 2009 and has been developing very rapidly. The company is planning to conduct a training program in Malé on how to design and test a networked system. So the company manager has asked you to explain how to design and test a networked system. The manager has also asked you to make a report on the training program.

Required - You are required to design and test a networked system. You are also required to prepare a test document on it.

Design and implement a networked system, test it, prepare a test document and write a report on it titled "Designing and testing a networked system." In your report you must explain the hardware and software components needed for designing and testing the networked system and also explain the potential enhancements for the designed networked system. Include in your report the test document you prepared and diagrams and pictures for purpose of illustration. Your report must be unified and coherent. It must not exceed 2,000 words.

3. Test the network system to meet user requirements.

You should:

a. Test the network system solution that was design in 3.1.

b. Critically review and prepare a test document.

4. Recommend potential enhancements for the networked systems.

You should:

a. Recommend some potential enhancement needed for the designed networked system.

b. Discuss recommendation that are needed for the designed networked system.
