You are a leasing consultant for ABC Realty marketing an exclusive $2000.00 per week rental property. You have explained to the owner there will be a limited number of potential tenants who will have the ability to prove they can pay the rent and meet the tenancy obligations. All inspections are by appointment only and the owner has indicated her preference is for inspections to be between 1.30 pm and 3.00 pm Wednesday or Friday.

You have qualified prospective tenants on your database who you believe would be ideal for the property. They advise you they want to inspect the property at 5.00 pm on Thursday; this is their only time available due to their professional commitments.

Provide examples of what you would actually say to the owner and tenant to negotiate a mutually suitable time and make a firm appointment for this inspection. Your tenant response must demonstrate appropriate rapport.
