Please answer the following questions using the telecommunications data set.
You are an Infrastructure planning analyst under contract with government of Poland.
The Polish government has asked you to prepare a report that summarizes how the use of fixed telephones and mobile telephones has grown since 2002.
Part 1: Develop Charts to describe the how telecommunications in Poland compares to other countries in Poland's peer group
1. As part of your report you have been asked to provide a world map that highlights the number of fixed telephone subscribers by country.
2. Develop a graph that demonstrates the number mobile cellular subscriptions by year from 2002- 2011 for Poland, and several countries that you have determined have similar communication needs. The other countries to include in your graph are: Argentina, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Venezuela
Part 2: Identify trends in Polish usage of telecommunication technologies
1. Develop a chart that shows, for Poland, the number of fixed telephone subscriptions per 100 in population, mobile telephone subscriptions per 100 in population, and % of people using the internet from 2002-2011
2. From 2010-2011, did fixed telephone subscriptions, or mobile telephone subscriptions grow faster? Make a chart to support your answer
Part 3: Develop Forecast
Based on the results of your analysis, do you recommend that the Polish government focus infrastructure spending on improving the fixed telephone services, or the mobile cellular telephone services?
