Door handles are something that are practically impossible to not touch when going from room to room. As most of you know, your hands harbor millions of bacteria and when you're constantly opening doors, you're leaving behind some of those microorganisms. In fact, some studies have shown that door handles in our homes can be a location that harbors more bacteria than some spots in your bathroom. Some common microbes on household door handles include E-Coli, Staphylococcus, Aureas, as well as some viral and fungal infections.
