On 16th of May, 2012, the former Virginia governor and the Democratic candidate for the Virginia U.S. Senate seat Tim Kaine made a stopped here in Falls Church this gone Wednesday to discuss his Medicare and Social Security plans with group seniors. The former governor assured the group of senior that he would not stand by and allows the federal government to make changes to the two programs many senior citizens depend on for survival. He mentioned that some of his Republican colleagues have started calling Social Security a Ponzi scheme but he sees the program as a necessity.
