Media's influence
-glorifying the skinny people and bashing the ones that are not
-so many celebrities getting plastic surgery, even very young ones (i.e. Heidi Montag)
-girls on reality TV are premiscuous, it's almost considered normal for young women
Music
-a lot of popular music on the radio is talking about sex; some amongst lesbians or threesomes.
-music videos show women with very little clothing and usually very skinny
Environment
-children see peers acting, dressing, and/or speaking certain ways in public (when out with friends)
-children hear their parents/siblings speak about themselves negatively

These were just a few things I was thinking about talking about for my research paper, I would appreciate more suggestions and if you have good links you could share that would be great. I don't even know where to start, any input would be helpful.
