Question: As an LTC professional, you will need to understand and apply best practices to market your services to an extensive and diverse market. For your initial discussion post, you will act as an LTC administrator looking to market a new telehealth service to your patients and their families. Identify the new telehealth service (e.g. e-scheduling, prescription refill, online appointments, health education services, etc) and then identify which marketing theory (either the Diffusion of Innovation theory or the Social Marketing theory) you will use to effectively market this service to the consumers and their families. Discuss why you believe your selected theory would work best and would be most effective for your LTC organizations trying to market this new service.
