You have five films available to watch for this week. Pick any one film and write a short (300-400 words) note on it. Your film response needs to capture the main argument of the film, summarize its contents (demonstrate that you have actually seen the film) and reflect a little on the implication of the film (think about why the film fits in with the class this week, what interesting thing does it teach about that part of the world, why is it important). You will be graded as follows: Degree of engagement with film (0-1, 2-3, 4), Level of argument in relation to question (0-1, 2-3, 4)
1. Make sure you give me enough proof that you have watched the film (e.g., indicate particular points that you saw/heard in the film)
2. Make sure that you concisely (1= 2 sentences ) capture a major argument in the film (e.g., the film advances an argument that technological changes lead to changes in social relations. Thus the narrator says...)
3. Your final part of the response needs to locate the film within the topic for the week or tie it with some point from a reading for the week ( the note of this week in attachment ) the topic of reading in this week about the globalization
