Question

Complete the following statements to learn about sex-linked inheritance. Sex-linked alleles have a different pattern of inheritance compared to those found on (Click to select) chromosomes. The much shorter (Click to select) chromosome contains fewer than 200 genes, most of which determine sex differences, while the much larger (Click to select) chromosome contains nearly 2000 genes. Because the X and Y chromosmes are not (Click to select) , the Y chromosome from the father may not carry an allele for every trait. Sex-linked genetic disorders are more likely to be recessive and (Click to select) and therefore more likely in (Click to select) .
