The Language Relativity Hypothesis is the notion that language shapes, and in fact may determine, the way people in a specific culture perceive and understand the world. What are your thoughts on this first, cross-culturally (ex. Eskimos have many words for snow, some peaceful cultures have no words for war while others have many words fo different types of wars.) and, more importantly, within your own world view.  Do you beleive that your language can dictate your behavior? Do you believe that the words you choose can influence the events of your life, or the type of world you create for yourself?
