How to describe this body ritual in your own word?
The main body ritual the stood out to me the most while reading was the second ritual that includes the mouth-rite. At first this reminded me of the newer generations through process of your intentions become reality. The more I read it started sounding intimidating with using the words of "magical materials" and "supernatural substance" entering the mouth until I realized what he was explaining in his own words for the first time. A quite often body ritual that I've witnessed the most while visiting Colorado for the first time was the strange habit of many different Rites of strength and agility with a wide range that literally includes anything you could think about. One of the biggest focuses that I've witness was devotes cheering, yelling, and patiently waiting in front of, a flattened black rectangle. Sometimes solo or in what looks like wild animal packs hunting for their next prey. If the devotes are able to participate in the scared temples, it's their frenzied cries rising in waves that shake the sacred arena. Apon the different ritual space varying the most frequent one I've noticed was scarce green field, ice block, or polished wooden floors all including mysterious ritual markings and hallow spheres filled with air. The sacred sphere, fashioned from the tanned hide of animals and filled with air, is revered as the central object of contest. Its passage across the ritual lines determines glory or disgrace for the warrior societies who pursue it. It struck my attention how a sphere being tossed around could, its passage could ignite thunderous energy, tension, and devotion among the Nacirema. I also witnessed Nacirema's huddled before the battle outside of the temples contributing to a sacrificial flame offering. Sacrificing more than a single object, mysterious vapors fogging up the atmosphere with some exotic, overwhelming, and intoxicating at times.
Never less, this experience of Colorado heightened my senses including my surroundings as though I was touched by unseen forces. Involving myself in the devotee's ritual reworded myself with a renewed energy, moments of fulfillment, and spiritual satisfaction. Although, different warrior societies gather during different weather climates to participate in battling each time is more interesting depending on the energy of the devotees. After my first experience I wouldn't be able to choose which battel was most intergang to join in.
