You are investigating two species of grass. One species, which you call species A, lives in very hot soil near a hot spring while another, which you call species B, lives in soil with a moderate (not hot and not cold) temperature. The plasma membranes of the two plant species have the same fluidity. Name two things you would expect to be different about the phospholipid molecules found in the plasma membrane of species A when compared to the phospholipid molecules found in the plasma membrane of species B. You must also explain how they would be different and the reason for your choices. You must include the effect that temperature has on fluidity in your answer.
