Assessment Description
PART A
Students will write a report that identifies 5 enterprise systems that are used in different industries and discuss their functionalities.
PART B
XYZ Inc., a mid-sized business organization in the Western Hemisphere, tracked its inventory in a spreadsheet and its financial data in desktop accounting software. When the company began doubling sales year-over-year, leadership felt its current processes weren't keeping up. Spreadsheets couldn't account for changing inventory costs, and the accounting software didn't have the workflows necessary to record the cost of goods sold (COGS), an important financial metric. As a result, they had to do double data entry- manually.
Write a recommendation report based on the given case study. Investigate and Identify a list of possible ERP software. You must also describe and recommend to the organization a software, as well as a vendor to implement their ERP system. Explain and demonstrate why the recommended ERP software and vendor suit the organisation's current needs. Get top-notch online assignment help now.
Finally, you should explain the additional benefits they stand to derive from ERP implementation.
Report
The reports must have the following word counts: Part A 1000 words, and Part B 3000 words. Students are required to use additional references to support their arguments.
Your report should be a synthesis of ideas researched from a variety of sources and expressed in your own words. It should be written in clear English and be submitted in electronic format as either a Word document or a pdf file. This electronic file will be checked using Turnitin for any evidence of plagiarism. You are expected to use in-text citations to support your arguments which should be referenced in the normal APA referencing style.
Presentation
For this part, your group will deliver an in-class presentation to showcase the recommendations formulated in your Part B report. The presentation itself should be concise, lasting approximately 5-6 minutes.
Following your group's presentation, there will be a 5-6 minute question and answer (Q&A) session where you will address queries related to your findings and recommendations.
Research expectation:
The submission needs to be supported with information by credible sources.
