Introduction to Digital Technologies Coursework

In this coursework, you are asked to write a 1500-word report on ONE of the following topics:

[Smart Living] | [eHealth] | [Virtual Reality] | [Online Marketing]

In the report, you should:

- Investigate the existing systems/solutions related with the chosen topic. A number of resources can be consulted, ranging from web sites to books, magazines, and journals related to the subject of the chosen field (20% of the coursework mark)
- Describe how the technologies (Internet, digital media, cloud, and IoT) learnt in LLP112 are involved in the chosen topic. At least three technical elements should be considered (40% of the coursework mark)
- Communicate your thoughts and discuss about the challenges, possible issues and the future of the chosen topic (20% of the coursework mark)
- Also, 20% of the marks are allocated for the presentation and clarity of your report.
- All submitted reports must be accompanied by the cover page, which is shown at the end of this instructions document.

Hints on report writing
You should aim to have a big picture about the chosen topic and communicate your views clearly. The report should not be solely based on the content referenced externally.
Once you have started to think about the big picture, you should ask yourself how you can incorporate the technologies you learnt into the chosen topic. Particularly focus on the technologies of Internet, digital media processing, cloud and Internet of Things (IoT). An in-depth technical analysis is not expected, but the report should
provide evidence that the technologies are sufficiently elaborated. While elaborating on the technologies, you can develop your ideas in more detail and explore future applications related to the topic.
At the beginning of your report, you should put the chosen topic as title. The report should be well structured, grammatically correct, fluent and coherent. To convey your idea clearly, you may use suitable images, diagrams, tables, narratives, etc. in moderation. When you use external resources, you should quote and reference them properly. The 1500-word limit is strict (excluding references).
