Assessment - Analysis and construction of graphics

Task
In this assessment, you will: evaluate graphical displays of data: construct graphical displays of data using R software; and calculate summary statistics using R software. The first part is a Group Exercise (w5) and the second part is an Individual Report & code (w6).

Group Exercise
You will be given a Powerpoint file containing six graphical displays of data, and an Excel file containing the data for three of the graphs. Critique the six graphs and produce better graphs for the three for which you have the data, using R software. Prepare a Powerpoint presentation - all members of the group to speak. Upload the Powerpoint file to MyKBS.

Individual Report
You will be given three data sets: univariate categorical; univariate numerical; multivariate. For each data set present appropriate summary statistics and one graphic. drawn using R software. together with a caption in a Word document.

Assessment instructions for this assessment:
Group Exercise: one member of each group submit the Powerpoint slide deck at the end of the preparation time during the Week 5 class.

R Code: Include the complete R code you used to perform the analysis. Ensure that the code is well-documented with comments.
You must submit your R code in .r format extension. Any other formats will not be accepted.
