Research - Virtualization Increases in computing power allow enterprises to use virtualization to offer an increasing number of services using less hardware. Because virtualization uses less hardware, software and support costs also might decrease. As an employee in your organization's IT department, the chief information officer has asked you to research how virtualization can help create efficiencies and reduce costs. Why can virtualization reduce hardware, software, and support costs? Research an enterprise currently using virtualization. Is the experience positive? What arguments would you make to implement virtualization in your organization? Do any reasons exist why virtualization might not be a good idea?
