Essay - This coursework should take the form of 2,500 words essay on the topic below. The use of trade sanctions to implement international environmental obligations raises possible conflicts between obligations under environmental agreements and those under free trade agreements (Sands, 2003). Discuss the ways in which the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1994 has resolved this conflict in international environmental law.
