Part A: Analyse your proposal from A1 using the guidelines listed below. Submit in pdf format through Learnline A2 submission page. (1000-1500 words)
Submit a written document in word or pdf format presenting a critical analysis of a polycentric governance system you identified in A1 using the following as a guide:
- Briefly describe the key elements of the proposal presented in A1.
- Identify and outline the relevance of the individual, team, organisation and society stakeholder groups within the relevant social-ecological system which are required to execute the planned polycentric governance system proposed in A1.
- Using the 3 Pillars of Sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), critically analyse the proposed polycentric governance system from each stakeholder group perspective.
- Outline the potential benefits and trade-offs for each stakeholder group.
- Analyse what each stakeholder group would need addressed for the plan to progress. What issues might each stakeholder group raise? (eg. power differentials, resourcing, etc)
- Provide guidance on how the planned polycentric governance system could be implemented effectively using the 7 Principles of Resilience.
Part B: Comment on 2 fellow students' proposals to implement a polycentric governance system identified in A1. Add your comments, insights, links, referenced sources of information etc in the comments, feedback and rubric sections provided in FeedbackFruits. The aim is to work as a team with your unit colleagues and contribute to other proposals. Your comments should be well informed and provide the other students with useful insights to help with the development of their ideas. (500-1000 words)
